Hello! I'm Matt, a full-time teacher with a full-time family who loves photography. I'm that dad who always hauls his big camera along to every outing because, c'mon, I'm not going to miss a good shot, you know? I've had a camera in my hand since taking a photography class in my senior year of high school (thanks, Ms. Sirrott!). I started with shooting with film and a processing in a darkroom because I guess I'm old, er, cultured, and I've experienced the maturing of digital cameras firsthand. After years of taking photos of friends and family, my hobby slowly became a second job, which has been awesome because camera lenses are expensive!

As a 20-year veteran teacher and former swim coach, I've worked with adults and kids of all ages. Those experiences, along with 10 years of fatherhood, have instilled compassion, patience, and how to make any experience enjoyable (even grammar lessons in my English classes).
